Expert System for Mushroom Crop

 Expert System for Mushroom Crop has been developed  by Directorate of Mushroom Research, Solan, (H.P.)  in collaboration with Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute, Division of Computer Applications, New Delhi. This system is a farmer oriented and user friendly which provides spectrum of information with images of mushroom crop. This system is available at http://expert.iasri.res.in/agridaksh/mushroom.jsp

1.  Introduction link provides information on basic, origin and history, Nutritional Properties, Medicinal Properties, Marketing for commercially grown species white button and oyster mushrooms.

2.  Varieties link gives information on  Temperate Mushrooms, Subtropical Mushrooms, Tropical mushrooms. Temperate Mushrooms  having information on white button mushroom, Oyster mushroom  and Shiitake mushroom with advantages and disadvantages. Subtropical Mushrooms link provides information on  variety of Summer White Button Mushrooms.

3.  Compost/Substrate Preparation link gives information on  raw material and ingredients required for composting, formulations and different formulations for  White Button Mushrooms and  Oyster mushroom.

4.  Spawn Production Technology link gives  detail information on  technology for hybrid seed production  such as Pure Culture Preparation,  Substrate Preparation , Mother Spawn Preparation , Commercial Spawn Preparation, Spawn Storage and its transport,  Liquid Spawn,  Spawn production cycle and many more
